Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomard in Chocolate

The Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade is unattainable this side of the globe so when urbanoutfitters.com offered free international shipping, my fingers couldn't click "add to cart" fast enough.

The pomade is a highly pigmented, thick, waxy, creamy concoction. Two light dips of my brush into this product will ensure my brows ready for human interaction. The cream texture transfers so easily onto the skin and hairs of the brow. I got a shock with how pigmented it was and how strong the colour came off when I just lightly stroked the brush through my brows.

I've been a powder girl for years when it comes to brows but I can see myself relying on this pomade from now on as it is so quick and easy. You don't have to go back in for more product and the cream sets by itself and is non-transferrable or shiny. No brow set is needed for this product as it is already a waxy texture. It can be made to look more natural with a more finer brush and lighter strokes and it can be used to create an intense look.

I chose the colour Chocolate which is a warm dark brown with subtle hints of red tones in it. I think Dark Brown would've suited me more as I have black hair and it is more cool toned. In the pictures the pomade looks cool-toned taupe-brown but in real life it is much much warmer (and browner...if that makes any sense). Urban Outfitters website sold out of the Pomades pretty quick, I suspect by all the Aussies (as some girls who are part of the Facebook Group "The Makeup Social bought multiple quantities and are now selling them for a premium price...dodgy, I know) so only Chocolate and Ebony were available when I got there.

The pot contains 4g of product which I suspect will most likely partially dry out before I manage to get to the bottom of the pot. It was sold at US retail price of $18 which worked out to be AUD $20 (a steal!) and I am extremely happy to have this in my collection.

Have you used the pomade? Do you prefer the brow wiz to the pomade or do you like to use brow powder?
