Laura Mercier Mini Caviar Stick Eye Colour Collection

I have only just discovered Laura Mercier about two years ago and from everything I've tried, the brand is super promising. As it is a relatively new brand to me, I more easily impressed as the quality of the products are superb and perform at a professional makeup artistry level. Last week I picked up the holiday caviar stick miniature set and wow, just wow.

This set includes 6 individual mini caviar sticks. One colour (amethyst) is limited edition and 5 is in the permanent range. Four shades are shimmery and two (khaki and cocoa) are semi matte. This little set retails for AUD$55 which is such a good bargain as the minis are 1g each whereas the full size is only 1.64g and retails for $39 each. If you go out and buy a single full size stick now after you've read this review then you are being silly!

All the shades belong in the neutral family so they are absolutely all wearable on an everyday basis. The sticks can be used as an eyeshadow base, as an eyeshadow with some blending or can be used as a liner.

Pigmentation is intense, my first swatch was "woah" and the texture is so creamy at first that blending is immensely easy. After a few minutes after the product has set, it does not budge, I even dare say the lasting power is better than By Terry's Ombre Blackstars.

If you are into cream shadows you like the idea of looking polished with minimum effort then this is your holiday set.
